Highly recommend if you play a lot of games on XBOX. Received with great enthusiasm by recipient ( a gift). Great item. Shipped quickly.
Only get it if you plan to go online though, since a memory card will do the same things offline as the harddrive and is much cheaper. I haven't used it to it's fullest yet as I havn't been online with my xbox but I plan to and with the storage it provides, I should be able to do anything that xbox live offers. I purchased the xbox 360 120gb harddrive on amazon and I haven't been disappointed at all. It was amazing how easily it snaps onto the xbox and it hasn't given me a day of trouble.
Totally worth it. He loves this. So much space. My husband is gamer and he still has plenty of space.
Oh thats right it's because they don't give you another option. 2.5" Mobile Hard Drives run around $39.99 if not cheaper. How does Microsoft get off charging almost $100 more.
This is just a huge rip-off, that is a required upgrade for those that bought the slimmed-down, no-hard-drive version of the xbox if they want to do things like use much of the downloadable content, use netflix on their xbox, or a variety of other tasks the 360 is capable of.The device itself is great; but the price strongly indicates that microsft is fleecing their customers here. I can buy a terabtye of storage online now for less than this 120G drive costs.
